Dec 4 Discussion of Field Ecology

This will be a field course, with extended student originated field projects at local natural sites (Harbison State Forest, Peach Tree Rock, and Congaree Swamp).  Students will carry out two extended field studies, and then report orally to the group on their results (October 2 and November 13).

Grades will be based on class participation, and on the oral reports.

Be prepared to go outside each week, rain or shine.  Wear strong shoes that can get wet.   We will supply insect repellent and water.
