Batson Fellowships

1. Travel Awards

• Travel awards up to $1,000 to support graduate student travel to meetings in which they present their research.

• A student may win this fellowship more than once but preference will be given to first time awardeeds and more advanced graduate students.

• Students should fill out an application form and submit to Erin Conolly by March 1.

2. Workshop Attendance

• Awards of up to $1,000 to allow students to attend workshops or to obtain technical training

• A student may win this fellowship more than once but preference will be given to first time awardees.

• Students should fill out an application form and submit it to Erin Connolly. Applications will be reviewed throughout the year.

Belser Fellowships

1. Outstanding Plant Biology Graduate Student ($1,000)

Nominations should be made by the faculty. Nominated students should submit a CV and two letters of reference to Erin Connolly.

2. Outstanding Incoming Plant Biology Graduate Student ($1,000)

Nominations by the faculty will be accepted in the spring.
