The Estuarine Ecology Lab is affiliated with the Marine Science Program and the Department of  Biological Sciences at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC. The EEL, directed by Dr. James L. Pinckney, conducts scientific research in a variety of estuarine and coastal habitats with the central theme of understanding ecosystem structure and function.
