How to Scan images & documents?

Note: This document is specifically designed for use in Room 401 with the EPSON scanner

 

Using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Acrobat

Step 1: Place your document face down on the scanner.

(Make sure to match the upper right-hand corner of the document with the upper right-hand corner of the scanner.)

Step 2: Open Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Acrobat by double clicking on the icon present in the desktop

Step 3: For Photoshop, Click on File > Import > EPSON TWAIN Pro

            For Adobe Acrobat, Click on File > Import > Scan…

Step 4: In Photoshop, EPSON TWAIN Pro Window appears (shown below). In Adobe Acrobat, select EPSON TWAIN Pro in the menu and click Scan

Step 5: Modify Image type, Resolution as you want and Click on Preview,

Step 6: After Preview, Select the area you want to scan, and hit Scan button. After scanning, click on Close. CHECK YOUR FILE SIZE. If necessary, change Image type, Resolution and re do the Scan again.

Step 7:. Then, click on File > Save >

Note: - If you are scanning an image, make sure you select any one of the file type (JPG, TIFF, GIF, BMP, PSD, PNG, PCX, etc.) as you need. Documents can be saved as PDF.

Step 8: Save your document/Image on to your floppy/zip disk or WWW drive. Now you are ready to edit it.

Step 9: For editing help, select Help from the Photoshop/Adobe Acrobat menu
