We are interested in defining the molecular mechanisms by which a small number of pluripotent floral stem cells develop into a mature Arabidopsis flower.
Our current research focus is the development of mass micropopagation and in vitro breeding technologies for different biomass and remediation plants species. Our choice of species is Arundo donax. The technology is licensed to Arundo Celluloz Farming LLC (http://arundo-donax.com/). They mass produce arundo plants of different developmental stages for biomass and remediation plantastions.
