Computer Services
Network Services
The Department maintains its own webservers and file servers supervised by a network manager who also provides desktop support for faculty and staff. In addition, assistance is available from the College of Arts and Sciences Computing and Information Technology Service as well as from University Technology Services.
Network Connections
Both wired and wireless network connections are available throughout the Department and Campus.
Teaching Resources
Most classrooms are equiped with computer/projector IT equipment. The Department has multiple computer labs, both portable and static, offering flexible use. Many additional computer labs are also available to students throughout the College and University. All instructional IT equipment is routinely upgraded as needed through the use of student generated technology fees as well as with College and University funds.
