MegaSquirt
Just Squeezes In, but Q2 & Q7 would have to be remotely mounted. |
Plenty
Of Space (maybe for 2!) |

The
case is 3.4 mm longer than would make the flat parts of the connectors
sit flush with the ends. |
Note
my MS board was101.6 mm wide. I had to shave it to 100.6 mm to make
it fit. |

I chose the
E-Case "B" because I really liked the slim profile. I'll
probably buy the black version of the case. |
|
|
There is an
extruded slot in the case which accepts small screws that can be
bought with the case. I liked these stainless steel Allen screws
better, so I enlarged the end panel plate holes slightly and tapped
the extruded slot for the screws. Very secure. |

|
It's quite
a bit smaller than the an original Lucas 16CU ECU. |
|
Note that
the I had to file down the chrome plated brass screws that hold
the LEDs in place. This is because I mis-measured the clearance
between the bottom of the case and where the flat land of the nut
would be. This version has the center of the hole at 5.75 mm up
from the bottom of the panel. The downloadable files below have
the hole centers at 7.75mm up from the bottom of the panel, which
should (I think) allow enough clearance. I still have install header
pins to wire up the LEDs etc to the PCB board. |
