* Kunz (1983) gives key to Diarthrodella
a) See
general notes on the family.
b) There is dispute as to whether this species belongs here or in the Family Tisbidae. Kunz (1981) transfers this to Diarthrodella.
c) In
this species the P.2-P.3 Enp. is densely hirsute along the margins. There is a
small weak seta sub-apically on the inner border. Becker, Noodt &
Schriever (1979) believe this is a Kliopsillus; Kunz puts it in Scottopsyllus
(Wellsopsyllus).
d) In
this species the P.1 Enp. is reduced to a vestigial asetose knob.
e) Leptopsyllus paratypicus, harveyi, elongatus, dubatyi Soyer, 1974c, punctatus Mielke, 1984b, platyspinosus Mielke, 1984b.
